Work well but there are better choices.

I received 2 pair of these Samsung 3D glasses with my mail-in rebate with my new Samsung TV. I also got 2 pairs of the Samsung SSG-3100GB 3D Active Glasses Glasses in the free bonus pack they were giving out. Well these glasses work fine. They are not the best. If I had the choice I would purchase the 3100's again over these.First off, these are rechargeable, which is very nice. You simply plug them into a USB port. Charging is pretty fast but if they die in the middle of the movie, you can't just pop another battery in and continue. They will take an hour or so to charge up. So even though you don't have to buy batteries, there is the possibility of missing your movie.Second, 3100's seem much more balanced on my head than the 3300's. The 3300's are heavy behind your ears where the re-chargeable battery sits. They also do not fold up for storage. The 3100's fold up and are very well balanced, and also much lighter.Price is an issue. These currently run about $35 more per pair. For my money I would much rather the 3100's. The batteries last about 70 hours on them. A 10 pack of batteries was about $6 which will last me quite a long time.Both pairs have their advantages and disadvantages but unless you get these for free, I would stick with the less expensive, more comfortable, lighter, and all around better 3100 model. I rated this 4 stars because they are nice glasses that do work well. But I think the other pair from Samsung is a little better.

these glasses fit well and look better than most 3D glasses. if you receive your glasses and they seem to be DOA and will not charge, there is a small reset button next to the usb input. plug in the usb and get something to push the reset button. glasses will blink orange and you are ready to start charging.

3 Stars because of charging bug

Glasses came in with dead batteries. They wouldn't charge at all over USB because it seems that it needs at least some charge to activate the USB charging system. Samsung technical support had no idea at all about these glasses. You will get no help from them. In any event, if you are having this problem and have an electric toothbrush you can fix them. Simply run each end of the glasses as close as possible to the electric toothbrush base where the bottom of your toothbrush sits to get a small charge from the induction charger. After a few minutes plug them into the USB and you should see the orange light blinking. To bind them, hold them 1" from your screen and hold the button in for 2 seconds. They will flash red and green. Let go of the button. To turn them on, switch to 3D mode on your TV.
