Works as Promised!

I am not sure why these have not been reviewed yet, but it made me hesitate to purchase them! I bought two and both arrived in perfect condition. After charging, they paired with my P65ST30 in about 1 second and worked great. I have not tried the Panasonic glasses or the older SainSonic model so I cannot compare the 3D quality, but these seem to work identically to the floor model 3D glasses I have tried at Costco and other retailers. I wear glasses when I watch movies and these things fit over them nicely. They are actually pretty wide and the lenses are larger than they appear in the pictures. Also, I found the 3D image displayed through the glasses to be much brighter and more detailed than I was expecting (again based on my floor model experiences).These came in a small, glossy, and hard cardboard box that even has a magnetic seal. Inside there is a cloth, storage pouch, USB cable, and brief instructions. There are no interchangable nose pieces like the older model, but they fit me (5'11") and my girlfriend (5'1") equally well so this is not a big deal. All and all I am happy with this purchase because even though 3D is a novelty it was something I wanted to try at home, and I got two sets of glasses for less than the price of one OEM model!

Bought these as an alternative to the OEM Panasonic glasses. They are a whole lot cheaper than any other IR 3D glasses. Works with the VT30 series (assuming will work also for any Panasonic TV with IR capable 3D). My viewing distance is about 11 ft. did not get any interference or drop in signal. Range is pretty good. As with any active shutter glasses, you will always have a 'dimming' effect on any picture. Compared to the Panasonic glasses (the ones that came with the TV), cross-talk, 3D depth, response are the same. The only difference I see is that these glasses add a slight yellow tint to the picture once activated. Not a deal breaker in my book. Glasses hold their charge well. I had them fully charged 2 weeks ago and used them for 3 consecutive nights (3 full length movies) after without recharging.There are 2 variants of these glasses being sold in Amazon. They are essentially the same. One says 'Universal IR' and the other says 'SainSonic branded'. They are made by the same company. The 'Universal' offers 3 different nose piece, while the 'SainSonic' does not. Make sure you order the ones that come from the 'Sain Store'. There is another store that offer these glasses for $25 but charge you close to $7 for shipping. the one from Sain Store is fulfilled by Amazon.Star rating for the glasses are above.Amazon-*****+++!

They work great with my Panasonic TC-P50GT25 50 inch plasma TV. They're comfortable and fit over my glasses without a heavy feel. The rechargeable aspect alone is worth it to be rid of those stupid button batteries and they hold a charge for several months at a time. I have no qualms recommending them. At the price (way below Panasonic replacement costs) they are a steal. Don't hesitate if you're looking to expand your audience with additional pairs and don't pay those high prices elsewhere. I had earlier models of SainSonics that weren't so compatable so be sure you're getting the new models that expand the viewing area by a wide margin!! and work with the majority of 3D active shutter TVs out there.
