Eye popping 3D!

The 3Active DLP Link 3D Glasses are a MUST BUY for anyone who owns a DLP 3D TV. First of all, if your DLP 3D TV supports DLP Link Technology, you won't need to purchase a separate emitter to get these glasses to work. PLEASE NOTE, there is a difference between 3D ready TVs and 3D TVs. 3D ready TVs usually denote TVs that have an additional output on the rear to plug in an external emitter to allow it to use 3D technology. 3D TVs have the emitters built in, but MAY also have a VESA plug in the rear to allow the use of other types of IR 3D Glasses. In my case, I purchased the WD-73642. This was a DLP 3D TV and had the DLP Link Technology already built into the TV. I use a Playstation 3 to watch my 3D content on. These glasses are PERFECT with my setup. I checked the 3D menu option on my TV and set it to automatic and it picked up these glasses flawlessly! I also have a set of Playstation 3D glasses (PS398079) and 2 pairs of Sony 3D glasses (Model #: TDG-BR250/B). These glasses are IR glasses and WILL NOT work with DLP TVs without an external emitter (FYI I haven't found an emitter yet that works with the TDG-BR250/B glasses, but the High Power IR Emitter does work with the PS398079 [you will notice flicker though, which can get irritating]).So in short, if you have a DLP TV that has the capability for DLP http://amzn.com/dp/B008DKGUPI/?tag={campingtoolz-20}. Buy these glasses! You will not be disappointed.I bought the 4 pack. These all came in their own individual case which is NOT the cloth case, it is a sturdier case that retains its shape, so it will protect the glasses better. You get a lens cloth and a charging cable with each pair of glasses. And as an added bonus, you get 2 USB Wall plugs that has it's own individual case! It is awesome! I could not be any happier with this purchase. I don't know if this 4 pack deal will remain the same for everyone else, so make sure you read the description for what you get. I know that if I ever need more glasses in the future for my DLP TV, I will pick these glasses up again in a heartbeat!

I am new to 3D. These glasses performed very well with my optoma HD33. The only thing that might be considered a con was every once in a while you would see the rainbows, however I think that is more from the projector than the glasses.
