Your television has a built in IR emitter and does not require an external IR Emitter.

If your Television model is not listed above
Your TV requires either a 3DA-1 Adapter, or a 3D Blu Ray player that can transmit in "checkerboard".
If you already have the 3DA-1 adapter, these 3D Glasses will work with your Television, however an IR emitter is required.
Note: 3ACTIVE 3D Glasses will not work with an Xpand IR Emitter, however the 3ACTIVE IR emitter will support your Xpand 3D Glasses.
The following Panasonic 3D Blu Ray Players transmit in "checkerboard". This will allow 3D Blu Rays to be played in 3D without a 3DA-1 Adapter.

Works great with the WD-82740 Mitsubishi 3D TV

I looked everywhere for reviews specifically for the WD-82740 series and could not find any so I took a chance on these and now I want to provide info to any of you who may be looking for reviews specific to the 82" Mitsubishi tv. Although the WD-82740 TV has an internal emitter, I opted to try these glasses out with the 3ACTIVE emitter in this package. I knew I would have to buy more than a couple pair of glasses for the family and all the folks that come over so I wanted to try these out since they were cheaper and I read numerous positive reviews. They were shipped quickly and I believe they charged this set before they arrived. There is a button on the top of one of the sides of the ear piece that turns the glasses off and on...when you press the button..1 continous green light means it is on...3 green blinking lights means it is off. The emitter wire simple plugs in the back of the tv and the emitter sits in the front of the tv to your liking. We went through a learning curve when we tried these glasses....MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE "INTERNAL" TV'S EMITTER "OFF" and turn the EXTERNAL Emitter "ON" via the TV's menu for 3D. After we figured that out (seemed to be a rather simple fix - almost hate to admit it) the glasses worked perfectly. Our seating arrangement is about 15 feet from the emitter and it worked continuously throughout the 3D movie via sent through our cable box (not a dvd). I like the ideal of having the 2 electrical plug chargers... in addition to the usb wire you get with EVERY pair of glasses. You get a decent case to hold each pair of glasses in as well as a cleaning cloth. If you expect to have alot of folks sitting around your MITSUBISHI tv to watch 3D movies, then you may want to invest in a couple pair of these. Again, these work perfectly with the WD-82740 Mits tv...I can not vouch for how they work with other tvs. I will provide an update on how long the charge last once known.

I loved the setup for the price from these guys. But if u own any Mitsubishi tv older then a 2012 U will need the adaptor even if Mitsubishi says otherwise. And after what i spent for the tv and this set i wasn't going to pay 500$ for the adaptor. So unfortunetly I returned everything - this set the tv and all and bought a Panasonic 3d with glasses and all for 900$ less. I'm sure next year i'll be back to these guys for glasses for that tv set after the holidays.

These glasses are flicker free and has a much brighter clearer 3D image on the Mitsubishi 73738 they work with the Checkerboard and side by side 3D. I have to use the Mitsubishi 3D adapter for top/Bottom 3D but it all looks great. They also come with their own hard shell carrying case and so far seem to last along time on 1 charge. I have watched 6 full length movies so far and still do not need to charge them.
