Okeba 3D glasses

I have a 3D projector and have bought several brands of 3D glasses to have enough on hand for everyone. The Okebas are the ones that I keep for myself. They are light weight and are the best pair I own. The thin frames don't interfere with my eyeglasses and are the best 3D imaging.

Mom approved. I bought six of these glasses. The price was cheap and I wasn't really sure about the quality, when a lot of other glasses are selling for above $60. I was pleasantly surprised after using these glasses. They fit over my prescription glasses without issue. They hold a charge for quite a while and the charge time isn't too long. About an hour or so depending on the computer I used. I was able to sync these up with my ViewSonic PJD5123 Projector without any issues. There really wasn't much for directions, but once we figured out how to switch from right to left/left to right on the glasses we were hooked. I know now why the directions seemed limited, there isn't much to using these glasses at all. When not in use, I still keep the glasses in the glasses case (came with) inside the original box. It has been nice and sturdy.Boys approved. I have one 24 year old son with lots of friends that like to visit. These glasses have stood up to accidental droppings etc. In other words, they were not handled with kid gloves. The boys also use them to play their games on PS3 and XBOX 360 (provided they are 3D of course) without any issues.

These v.s. True Depth

Ordered these and the True Depth glasses. The Okeba show a slightly brighter image and are comfortable over long periods of time. They are cheaper than the True Depth glasses but here's the tradeoff: True Depth glasses are made pretty well and could easily outlast these glasses if you take care of them. These glasses are made flimsy, cheap, and will probably break if kids and or drunks come over. However, I like the comfort for long wearing times and the brighter image. These are cheap enough that I can replace them if the drunks and or kids come over and start acting like drunks and or kids. They would probably break the sturdier glasses anyway because they are drunks and or kids. I say try them, you may find they do the job just fine. These are made for a dark room, there is nothing to block the ambient light from coming in through the sides of these glasses.
