The 2010 and 2011/2012 Samsung 3D TVs use a different technology to synchronize the 3D glasses with the 3D TV. The 2010 use infrared, and the 2011/2012 use radio frequency. The signal coming from the TV must match the signal in the glasses for proper functionality.

Work great, fit well

These work very well with my Samsung PN64D7000 64-Inch 1080p 600 Hz 3D Plasma HDTV (Black). They come in a nice felt bag inside a zipped hard case. They fit very well even over my glasses (which are 58 mm from side to side FWIW). They charge via a microsub cable (included, in case you don't already have a bunch). I like them more than my Samsung SSG-3050s. I'll buy more of these. One tip -- they don't seem to auto-associate the first time you turn them on. So, first fully charge them, then turn on your TV, then press and hold the power button until it blinks rapidly. Then it will associate and work great.

Ok, I must first ask God's forgiveness for even considering purchasing an expensive 3D TV and then paying over $100 for 2 pairs of 3D glasses. I actually feel a little guilty about these purchases. Ok, a lot guilty. Until set up the TV and put on the glasses. WHOA! 3D at home is what I've always dreamed of. VERY COOL!!! The glasses are very expensive, to me, but well worth it. Being rechargeable makes me feel less guilty, since I do not have to purchase batteries every other month.I assumed the glasses would work out of the box, but I did have to read the instructions, before I figured out how they actually work/setup. Once the glasses reached their full charge, I turned on the Samsung TV to a 3D channel (DirecTV has 3 or 4 3D channels) and then pushed the button on the ear piece of the glasses. Pushing the button and holding it down for a few seconds allows the glasses to sync with the TV. If you watch the lenses of the glasses carefully, you will notice that they get darker once the glasses sync with the TV. After that, you simply sit back and watch. Very easy once the glasses are charged up and then synced to the TV. Read the instructions. It only took me a few seconds to sync after charging. By the way, the glasses recharge by plugging them into a USB port. The recharge cord comes with the glasses, in a nice cloth sack and sturdy glasses case.These 3Active Samsung-Compatible 3D glasses for 2011 "D" Series 3D TV's work very well with my Samsung D7000 series. I cannot wait until DirecTV expands their 3D offerings. I watched a college basketball game the other night in 3D and could not take my eyes off the screen. It was amazing! And I don't even like college basketball (except the end of March Madness).I'm very happy with these glasses, so far. I remember back in the early or mid 1990's I saw 3D TV, at the Smithsonian in D.C., sitting next to an old Black/White set. TV has come a long way from the small Black & White box we had as a child. The Digital change over was good. HD viewing is amazing. But 3D is TV at its very best! What's next? And will I be able to afford it? I wonder if Heaven will appear in 3D? God forgive me!

Don't work

They don't work. I have a brand new 3D Samsung tv but the glasses don't work. According to the summary on the glasses they should work.
