LG D Active glasses

The glasses do what they wewe designed to do. The instructions did require close interpretation to understand. Some of the reviewes did help in pairing the glasses to the tv. Charging procedures are a bit vague, but understanable after trying the techniques. But once charged and paired, the 3D effects are above average. Glass comfort over my spectacles is quite good.

We got these glasses with our LG 60" plasma TV and haven't honestly used them much so far. I did pair them with the TV set (after exchanging one pair that didn't work) and try them out on a couple of the 3D Directv channels but they're hard to watch with, you can see the flicker out the sides of the glasses where the TV isn't and they aren't really comfortable even. They do seem to work best in a dark room with the only light being from the TV.I don't know if this is going to be the direction that 3D ends up taking but I think there's still some refinement to be had here.

They work. But not the best quality.

The maker of these glasses, Accupix Inc, made these as the most minimal way they could. They work. 3d looks pretty good. But these glasses are flimsy. Like super flimsy. The free Real3D glasses that they pass out at the theaters feel better than these.They are also not made to be worn with glasses. The lenses are too small, and they don't rest well with glasses on. Again, Real3D work better than this.It comes with a USB charging cable, but it's proprietary. I was really wishing it would be micro USB, just so I wouldn't have to have one more cable plugged in.Others have pointed out flickering in a lit room. I didnt really notice it. But what I did notice was the shutter noise coming from them. It's only really noticeable during low points of sound in the movie, but sounds like an old time theater projection reel.They arnt perfect, but they work. They came free from amazon for buying my tv, which I'm really glad I didn't have to purchase them. I would pay $20 for them, but not $45.
